Joe Yanta's Crocodile

The Crocodile is one Hill bow I had not seen before. I was really interested when Joe announced he had ordered one. Now it's here and he is sharing his pix and reactions:

Hi Cap'n I got my Crocodile today.  WOW! was it ever worth the wait.  I dropped the order in the mail on December 7th, 2007 and I received it today February 5, 2008.  Opening the box was was something special and seeing the that rich yellow of the osage contrasted against the black of Gabbon ebony was striking to say the least.  Here are the specifics of the bow.  Howard Hill "Crocodile", 66 inches in length, 50# @ 28" (should be about 44# at my 26" draw), Gaboon ebony riser and tips, high gloss hand rubbed finish.  The leather wrap appears to be black glued on pigskin.  Pictures cant do justice for the bow.  It is beautiful.  The arrow group is my very first 5 shots made at 18 yards.
The first 5 shots were very fast and the bow was smooth to draw.  I hope you enjoy the pictures.  There is still some daylight left and I can get some more shooting in.
