Jose' Dominquez' "Rogue"
Hi Dick,
I’m proud to show you “The Rogue”, the most beautiful
bow I’ve ever seen!
100#@28, 68” Bacote/clear glass on the belly, black
glass on the back. Ivory tips, elaphant inlay and
leather wrap. Bacote riser.
A bow with capitol letters.
Enjoy!
José.
Jose' I note that it is marked as a Wesley "WC" but appears to have only four lams, like a Big Five...?

Dick
It was supposed to be a Wesley Special (5 bamboo lams)
but in the end Craig used 4 bamboo lams (like a Big
Five) and one bacote lam under the clear glass of the
belly. Very nice looking bow.
About the arrows, I tried to make the heaviest arrow
possible for 100#. In the end I used my regular 29"
2219s aluminum arrows, I added PDP inserts on one side
(the ones that let you insert weights and then I used
nock adapters made by gold tip. I put them inside the
easton super unibushings and then I used several 50
grains inside. 200 grains on one side and 150 on the
other side. To make it better, I used Trueflight
Magnun/maxifletch to help stabilize such heavy arrows.
Also I'm using 250 grains field tips to reach around
1100 grains in total. The arrows are flying very well.
But still I need to work out a lot to master this
heavy bow! Now I feel closer to Howard Hill, Bob
Swinehart and Bill Negley and I'm starting to dream
about hunting elephants! Ha-ha! Just kidding...
I'm glad you liked the pictures.
Jose.
