Recently, Ron Johnson posted some pix of a copy he made of the really neat quiver that Errol Flynn used in the Robin Hood movie. (See poster above.) It turned out that Mike G. had also made a copy and sent me pix of his as well. Ron followed up with a very well done set of plans. His pix and drawings were very large files, which I had to reduce. This is still a very large page, so give it time to download. Here is everything I have on this quiver...
Here are pix of both Ron's and Mike's finished quivers. This will be followed by Ron's detailed instructiions, which are excellent. However, after we posted this material, he found the original plans and article that he had worked from and sent them to me. I have appended them at the bottom as a .pdf file, which should open with current versions of Adobe Reader or similar pdf software.
Dick.
I was sent some pix of two Robin Hood quivers built by Brian, and have added them, as well...

Brian's Quivers
Dick,
I just joined the list, and thought I would share a couple of pics with
you of a couple of quivers that I built for a fellow in Oregon. He wanted
a Robin Hood Quiver built to specs he sent me. I got to work and came up
with the one that is titled RH Big in the pic titles. It is HEAVY Tooling
leather laced with rawhide lace. A while later, he contacted me wanting
me to build a companion quiver for his son in a smaller size. The pictures
titled RH Small are of that quiver. I used my wife as a model as she is
the same height the kid was who it was going to have to fit. I thought you
might like to see them and maybe even add them to your site if you wish.
I have a real hankering for a HH as you probably already know from my questions
on a few sites we frequent together. LOL!!! Thanks for the informational
site and the “list”.
God Bless,
Brian

Ron's Plans
Hi Dick,
I couldn’t find the old plans, so I’ve drawn up a new lot by taking
measurements off mine.
I’ve also taken these new pics and added some text to them. Hopefully
this is enough info. for the guys to make the quiver.
If you think anything else is needed, let me know...I think I’ve covered
everything?
Cheers,
Ron.

Original Article and Plans
Ron made his quiver from plans provided by the wardrobe/prop man who worked for Warner Bros. and made Errol Flynn's. He was unable to find those instructions and so made the plans above himself, based on his quiver. Later, he found the original plans and sent them to me. I am providing them here in .pdf format. Current versions of Adobe Reader and/or other pdf programs should open the file. If not, you'll have to use Ron's plans, which are excellent.
Warning: This is a huge file... give it plenty of time to download.
